Peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, on the 19th of February 2024, in the tender care of the fantastic staff of Blake Manor Nursing Home, Ballindereen.
Pre-deceased by her beloved husband Paddy, by her parents and by her dear brothers and sisters.
Aggie will forever be in the hearts of her loving family. Cherished and much loved mother of Pat (U.K), Kieran (Gort), Breda (Ballinasloe), and Liz (Dublin). Fondly remembered by her daughters-in-law Angela & Carmel, son-in-law Vincent and by her adored grandchildren Robert, Mark, Adam, Paul, Kieran, Eamon, Claire, James, Brian, Helen & Ian and by her great-grandchildren Hannah, Zoe, Hailey, Aimee, Ella, Evie, Holly and Tara. Sadly missed by her nephews, nieces, grandnephews, grandnieces, cousins, relatives, great neighbours, many friends and by the extended Kerrins and Power family’s.

Aggie will lie in repose in Seomra Ciúin, within Gort Town Hall, Church Street, Gort, (H91 E0C8) on Wednesday evening, February 21st , from 4pm until 6pm. Private removal on Thursday, February 22nd, with the funeral cortege arriving to St. Colman’s Church, Gort, for Requiem Mass at 11am.
Aggie will be laid to rest afterwards in St. Colman’s Cemetery, Gort, alongside her dear husband. Family flowers only please, donations, if desired, to the Galway Hospice Foundation, link here https://galwayhospice.ie/donate/
Aggie’s family deeply appreciates your kindness, loyalty, love and support at this time. We wish to thank all who cared for Aggie over the years, Dr. Richard Joyce and the staff at Gort Medical Centre, all at Gilmartins Pharmacy, all her carers, especially Helena and to all at Blake Manor Nursing Home for all they did for her.
