One of Clare’s largest employers has been given the green light to expand its premises.
Zimmer Biomet has been granted planning permission for a two-storey extension at its Shannon manufacturing plant.

The proposed development will take up over 5,000 square metres and will include a single-storey electrical room and a metal clad steel structure to house new equipment.
550 people are currently employed at the Shannon facility.
