Young Woman Dies In Limerick House Fire

Investigations are continuing into the cause of a fatal house fire in Limerick.

A young woman in her 20’s lost her life in the fire that broke out in the city in the early hours of the morning.

The blaze broke out at a house at Riverbank, Annacotty shortly after 3am this morning.

There were four other people in the house at the time, three men and one woman who escaped from the house uninjured.

The body of a woman in her 20’s has been taken to Limerick Regional Hospital where a post mortem examination will take place.

The scene is sealed off and a technical examination is due to take place later today.

The cause of the blaze is not known at this stage.
