A man has died in hospital from injuries sustained in a road crash in East Clare.
A car left the road in the townland of Cloonfadda, Killaloe shortly after 4 o’clock on Tuesday morning last.

There were five people in the car at the time – they were all taken to University Hospital Limerick, where they were treated for serious injuries.
One of them, a man in his twenties, has since succummed to his injuries.
Gardaí in Killaloe have issued a fresh appeal for information on the crash and Clare’s Crime Prevention Officer, Sergeant Joe Downey is urging witnesses to come forward.
