Gardaí are investigating a suspected hit and run in Ennis in which a 19 year old was injured.

The young hurler from Clarecastle was discovered on the side of the road at College View on Clonroadmore shortly before 1 am yesterday morning.
He had sustained a number of injuries and is currently in a stable condition in hospital.
A short time later a motorist came forward to Ennis Garda Station in connection with the incident .
