A yellow wind warning has been issued for Clare.
Met Eireann say very strong southwest winds can be expected this afternoon and evening, with hazardous driving conditions expected in some areas, especially along the coast.
The warning’s also been assigned to Galway, Mayo, Donegal, Leitrim and Sligo.
