Met Eireann has issued a Status Yellow warning for rain in this county, as well as Galway, Donegal, Leitrim, Mayo and Sligo.

It will remain in effect until 6pm this evening – bringing heavy showers, longer spells of rain and a chance of isolated thunderstorms.
Potential impacts include localised flooding, poor visibility and difficult travelling conditions.
