Strong winds are hitting Ireland as part of Storm Noa.
It has been named by the French Met Office, with a status yellow warning in place for Clare and 19 other counties.

Only those in the north-east are left out, and the alert runs until eight o’clock tonight.
Alan O’Reilly from Carlow Weather says the majority of areas will be affected.
