Yellow Weather Alert Comes Into Effect In Clare This Afternoon

A low level yellow weather alert comes into place for Clare this afternoon.

Met Éireann has forecast heavy rain and strong winds are forecast, with a risk of flooding and hazardous conditions.

The alert, which comes into affect at 3 o’clock this afternoon covers Clare, as well as the rest of Munster, Galway, Laois, Kilkenny, Carlow, Wicklow and Wexford and will remain in place until 11.30 tonight.
