A low-level status yellow thunderstorm and rain warning has been issued for Clare.
Met Éireann is forecasting localised slow-moving showers with heavy downpours, thunderstorms and the chance of hail, which could lead to spot flooding and difficult travel conditions.

The weather alert comes into force at noon today, Tuesday, and remains in place until 9 o’clock tonight.
It also covers Limerick, Tipperary, Kerry, Connacht, Cavan, Donegal, Longford, Offaly and Westmeath.
