Works To Get Underway At Clare Home Of Camogie Following Government Investment

Its hoped development works at the home of Clare Camogie will get underway in the coming months following the announcement of over 180,000 euro in funding for Fr McNamara Camogie field.

Its part of a 1.65 million euro allocation for 25 sporting organisations across Clare under the Government's Sports Capital Programme.

The programme will also see 200,000 euro being delived to Lee's Road and six-figure sums going to GAA clubs in O'Callaghans Mills, Scariff and Ennistymon, as well as Cullaun Sailing Club, Bridge United football Club and other groups.

Chairman of Clare Camogie, Joe Robbins says its a significant boost for the association.
