Work is underway at an incident in Quilty where a telecom pole has fallen, blocking a road.
Amidst strong winds battering the banner country from Storm Ashley, the pole was felled near the Kilmurry Ibrickane GAA grounds.

Its advised not to approach any fallen electrical wires and wait for the obstruction to be removed.
Elsewhere fallen trees are causing blockages on the road from Moanmore to Sragh, at the bottom of the hill in Woodstock an obstruction has blocked the road and in Carhuclough near Ennistymon a downed tree is also causing an obstruction.
Meanwhile, work is underway to restore power to thousands of customers around the county, the latest estimate from the ESB’s Powercheck app is that all outages will be rectified by 22:15 tonight.
