Work is officially underway at a new Day care centre in Clare’s County town.
A traditional sod turning event was held at the site of the new Cuan an Chlair facility at Cahercallamore on Tuesday, where a day care centre and 12 sheltered houses for the elderly are to be constructed.
The 3 million euro project is expected to be completed within 18 months and is expected to provide services for up to 60 people per day once operational.
