An appeal for information has been issued after a woman was threatened with a bottle and robbed in Ennis this morning.
A man approached the woman in the Woodquay area of the town at 1.50am, and threatened her with the object before taking her purse.

A man matching his description was seen in the Abbey Street and O'Connell Street areas from 12.30 this morning.
He's described as tall and thin with fair hair, wearing a long grey jacket and a scarf over his face.
