A woman has been taken to hospital following a road crash near Newmarket on Fergus earlier today.

A car overturned on the M18 motorway, near junction 11 shortly before noon, following a heavy hail shower.
Three units of Clare County Fire Service, Ambulance and Gardaí attended the scene and the motorway was closed for a time, leading to traffic disruption in the area.
A woman in her twenties was taken by ambulance to University Hospital Limerick, where she's being treated for minor injuries.
