A woman has died after a car accident in Galway just after 8 this morning.

Gardai say the car she was driving was in a collision with a truck on the N18 at Clarinbridge.
The victim was the sole occupant of the car and was pronounced dead at the scene.
Her body has been taken University Hospital Galway.
This stretch of road at Clarinbrige is currently closed to facilitate an examination by Garda Forensic Collision Investigators.
