Gardaí have described as “traumatic”, an incident in Ennis, during which a woman and her children were approached by a group of men.
The family were walking on the Drumcliffe Road on Sunday last, just after 1 o’clock, when three men approached them.

One of the men grabbed the woman from behind, while the other attempted to steal her handbag, and mobile phones which the children were carrying in their hands were taken and smashed on the ground.
