A woman was brought to hospital after she was taken off of an aircraft that diverted to Shannon Airport.
The United Airlines flight was flying from Chicago to Brussels when it diverted to Shannon, amid concerns that a woman on board had suffered a heart attack.
The plane touched down after 7:30 this morning, and the woman was taken to hospital by ambulance.
The remaining passengers and crew resumed their journey just before 9 o'clock, and the plane has since touched down in the Belgian capital.
