A woman has been arrested after a flight from Tenerife to Newcastle was diverted to Shannon last night.
Crew reported that a passenger was disruptive and intoxicated and a woman was removed from the plane when it touched down at the Mid-West Airport shortly after 10pm.

The woman was arrested and taken to Shannon Garda Station for questioning – she has since been released without charge and a file is being sent to the DPP.
There were 161 passengers on board flight LS-518, which resumed its journey to Newcastle shortly before half past twelve this morning.
