Gardaí are appealing for witnesses after a number of homes of elderly people in the Ennis area were targeted by thieves.
At around 7.40pm last Friday night, an elderly couple were alerted to a noise in the upstairs of their home in the Crescent on St Senan’s Road.
The male resident went upstairs to find a hall window open and a man with a peaked cap sitting on a flat roof outside, who subsequently made his escape.
