Witnesses Can Be Recalled To Banking Inquiry Over Contradictory Evidence

A member of the Banking Inquiry says that witnesses can be recalled if their evidence is contradictory to anyone elses. 

It comes after Former Anglo Irish Bank chief executive David Drumm has insisted he discussed banking issues with former taoiseach Brian Cowen at a board dinner.

That directly contradicts evidence given to the banking inquiry yesterday by Fintan Drury who said banking was NOT discussed at that dinner.

Fine Gael Senator Michael Darcy says the committee will decide whether to recall any witnesess.
