Clare FM has been honoured at the most prestigious awards ceremony for radio in Ireland.
Clare's number one station was up against national and local stations from throughout the island of Ireland in last night's PPI Radio Awards ceremony, which was held in Galway, and won two silvers.
Derrick Lynch from Clare FM sport was recognised in the Best Newcomer category, while the former host of Morning Focus John Cooke took second in the Best Speech broadcaster category.
Clare FM's Morning Focus, and the station's documentary about the Banner's Munster Hurling Final win of 1995, A Cup On The Bus, had also been shortlisted.
