A status yellow wind warning has been issued for Clare
The low-level alert for strong and very gusty winds comes into place here from 1pm.

Met Eireann is warning of possible impacts of falling branches, localised debris and difficult travelling conditions.
The alert also covers Galway, Mayo, Sligo, Leitrim and Donegal and remains in place until 9pm tonight.
