Wind Alert Issued For Clare As Storm Agnes Approaches

A Status Yellow wind alert has been issued for Clare.

Storm Agnes, the first named storm of the season will hit Ireland on Wednesday, when it will become very windy.

Met Éireann is forecasting potential coastal flooding, difficult travel conditions, power outages and some fallen trees.

The alert, which also covers the rest of Munster and Leinster comes into effect from 7am on Wednesday until Midnight Thursday.
