A low level yellow wind alert has been issued for Clare.
Met Éireann says it will be very windy for a time this afternoon, with winds of up to 100 kilometres per hour forecast.

It’s warning of difficult travel conditions, fallen branches and weakened trees over the coming hours.
The alert, which also covers Limerick, Cork and Kerry remains in place until 4 o’clock this afternoon.
