Niall Williams,a Clare writer, has been thanking people of the county for their support over the years.

Mr Williams is one of two Irish writers to be included on this year's Man Booker longlist for his work, The History of Rain.
Originally from Dublin Williams has lived in Kiltumper in West Clare for almost 30 years.
He says West Clare has played an important role in his writing.
