The widow of a Clare man who lost his life in a plane crash is calling on US President Joe Biden to help deliver justice to all those bereaved by the tragedy.
Lahinch native, Micheál ‘Mick’ Ryan was killed when the Boeing 737 Max Aircraft he was travelling on from Addis Ababa to Nairobi crashed minutes after take-off, killing everyone on board.
His widow, Naoise Connolly Ryan, penned an open letter to the US President which was published this week in the Irish Examiner, and comes off the back of a US judge ruling that the families of those lost in the crash should be treated as crime victims.
Naoise says she’s confident of getting that help if President Biden sees her plea.
