There’s been a widespread welcome for sports capital funding that’s being given to 29 clubs across Clare.
Nearly half a million euro is to be granted to organisations across this county under the latest round of the Sports Capital and Equipment Programme.

The largest allocation of more than 46 thousand euro is to go to Sixmilebridge camogie club to focus on its strength and conditioning programmes as well as ensuring sets of jerseys for all of its teams.
Club Secretary Catriona Scanlon says the grant will allow the club to accommodate its growing number of members.
