Widespread Condemnation Of Saudi Arabian Executions

There's been widespread condemnation of Saudi Arabia's execution of 47 people earlier today. 

The country's Interior Ministry says most were involved in attacks carried out by al Qaeda from 2003 to 2006.

They also included the Shia cleric, Sheik Nimr al Nimr, who had called for free elections in Saudi Arabia. 

Iran's Foreign Ministry responded to the news, saying Saudi Arabia will "pay a high price" for executing the prominent cleric.
