Clare County Council is set to progress to the part 8 planning stage for the construction of a new park and ride hub in Lisdoonvarna.
The announcement was made last night at the Falls Hotel in Ennistymon during a public consultation as part of the development of the landmark Cliffs of Moher 2040 strategy.

The draft document, published in August found that traffic congestion was the greatest concern for the host community, with 223 local residents in total, reporting the issue as a serious disruption.
Director of Tourism at Clare County Council, Leonard Cleary says the project is the first of many in the pipeline.
