The Bishop of Kilalloe says we have literally been living the austerity of lent all year round.
In his Easter message, Bishop Fintan Monahan has spoken of the remains of the pandemic refusing to surrender it’s grip and the horror and destruction of war in Eastern Europe.

He’s praised the outstanding goodness of people, who’ve reached out to those who’ve been displaced, through fundraising, giving their time or care and by welcoming those seeking refuge here.
Bishop Monahan says it’s a time for hope.
