Western Development Commission CEO Says Career Progression Will Provide Remote Working Challenge

The CEO of the Western Development Commission believes ensuring that workers do not feel they are missing out on career progression will be the biggest challenge to making remote working successful.

It comes as researchers at NUIG and the WDC are launching a new survey to capture people’s experience of working remotely during the pandemic.

A previous poll carried out by the WDC showed 94 percent of people want remote working to continue in some form in a post-pandemic world.
