A West Clare-based wedding planner insists the sector needs a month-to-month timeline about the lifting of restrictions at ceremonies urgently.
Numbers allowed at weddings are likely to remain at 50 for August, after Tanaiste Leo Varadkar said he ‘doesn’t anticipate’ any restrictions being lifted in the coming weeks.

Couples are now being advised to operate on the basis of 50 people being permitted to attend rather than 100 for next month at least.
