A prominent north Clare water supply has been removed from the Environmental Protection Agency’s ‘at risk list’ following a €7.5 Million investment.
The Ballymacravan Water Treatment Plant which serves Ennistymon and the surrounding area was subject to largescale upgrades as part of the investment.
New clarification and filtration systems were installed while a electrical and residual treatment upgrades were all seen at the plant.
The upgrade subsequently ensures the delivery of a safe reliable supply to residents.
