A West Clare physiotherapist claims more women will sustain long-term health issues unless a type of implant is banned.
A delegation has held a briefing in Leinster House to highlight the harmful effects of transvaginal mesh implant which have been used as a solution to pelvic health issues such as stress urinary incontinence.

However, the method of treatment has been to have harmful effects such as long-term pain.
Kilkee native and Chartered Physiotherapist Aoife Ní Eochaidh says the practice must come to an end.
