A West Clare nurse has sounded the alarm over a lack of dental care in rural areas.
As of January, there were just six dental practices here partaking in the medical card scheme, while it’s understood that just 8 private facilities are available outside of Ennis.

According to the Irish Dental Association meanwhile, two-thirds of practices nationwide are struggling to recruit staff.
