The brother of a West Clare murder victim says the pain and hurt of her loss remains, twenty years on from her death.
Ann Walsh was just 23 when she was strangled by her former boyfriend on the grounds of the local church on August 24th, 2005.

Raymond Donovan, who confessed to her murder and was subsequently sentenced to life in prison, was eligible to apply for parole last April, having had his previous application refused in 2023.
Ann’s brother Stephen Walsh has been telling Clare FM’s Morning Focus that he and his family are the only ones serving a life sentence.
