A young west Clare man has passed away following a car crash on Sunday.
23 year old Colum Callinan was was the only occupant of the car involved in the single vehicle crash between Kilmihil and Knockalough at around 8:30 on Sunday morning.

He suffered critical injuries in the incident and was airlifted Cork University Hospital, where he passed away on Thursday evening.
Gardaí in Kilrush are investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash. Anyone with information is asked to contact their local Garda station.
