A West Clare hotel has been named Local Business of the Year at a prestigious national award ceremony.
The Armada Hotel in Spanish Point has been celebrated for it’s resilience, community impact, and commitment to sustainability as Ireland’s first B Corp-certified hotel at the Irish Times Business Awards.

The B Corp certification, which emphasises environmental sustainability and social impact, has enabled the hotel to set new standards within the hospitality industry.
The award was presented at a prestigious ceremony in the Round Room of the Mansion House in Dublin.
Owner John Burke dedicated this award to the incredible team and the supportive local community, highlighting how deeply rooted the Armada is in West Clare.
