The people of West Clare are said to be “heartbroken” by the news of a local man’s tragic and untimely passing.
A man in his 30s has been fatally injured in a road traffic collision which took place on the N67 Kilkee to Kilrush road at Lisdeen last evening.

It’s understood Garda Forensic Collision Investigators are on the scene today to carry out an examination and the road is expected to remain closed for a number of hours.
Kilrush Independent Councillor Ian Lynch has been telling Clare FM’s Seán Lyons that the fact the man’s tragic death has occurred so close to Christmas makes it all the more devastating for his loved ones.
