It’s hoped that two separate funding boosts for West Clare will help maintain growth in the area’s tourism industry.

The government has approved the funding which will see around 90,000 allocated for upgrade works at the West End Car Park in Kilkee, and a further 80,000 euro to improve road and pedestrian access at the Bridges of Ross. Clare County Council will contribute a further 56 thousand euro to both projects.
