A temporary weight restriction has been placed on a Clare Bridge following a structural investigation.

A recommended load assessment has lead to the 3.5 tonne restriction on Latoon Creek Bridge, on the R458, 4 kiometres south of Clarecastle.
Further investigation will be carried out on the bridge with a view to implementing necessary remediation works as soon as possible.
Temporary traffic management and signage is in place to divert relevant traffic away from the bridge and along the designated diversion routes.
