A status orange high fire risk warning has been issued for Clare.
The warning announced by the Department of Agriculture Food and the Marine will run for a week until midday on the 14th of April having been instated at the same time yesterday.

Forest owners, farmers and people in rural areas are reminded to be extremely vigilant regarding fire activity and to report any suspicious or illegal activity to Gardaí.
In the interest of safety, members of the public are asked not to intervene in the case of a fire breaking out, evacuate the area and inform the Fire and Rescue Services.
