Winter Service Plan For Cold Snap Expected To Be Activated In Clare

Clare County Council say they’re preparing to activate their Winter Service Plan ahead of the expected cold snap this week.

The National Directorate for Fire and Emergency Management will brief the local authority here and elsewhere again this morning as temperatures begin to drop nationwide.

Siberian air from the East will move over Ireland from Wednesday which could bring heavy snow in places.
