Wet And Windy Conditions Hit Clare As Weather Alert Remains In Place

A low level yellow rain alert is in place for Clare today.

It’s one of three weather alerts issued for the country today, with up to 50 millimetres of rain expected to fall.

Met Eireann says gusts of up to 110 kilometres per hour are also likely, with areas along the coast worst affected.

Cathal Nolan from Ireland’s Weather Channel says conditions will be poor throughout the day.
