Motorists are being urged to drive with care this morning as a status yellow low temperature warning remains in place for Clare and much of the country.
Met Eireann is predicting temperatures to hit as low as minus four in places.
The alert, remains in place until 9 o’clock this morning, and affects 22 counties overall.
