The weather in Clare is going to be very unsettled for the coming days, as not one, but two storms approach the country.

A low level status yellow weather alert comes into force at noon today in the banner, as well as elsewhere, as Storm Dudley crosses the north of Ireland.

Met Éireann says winds will reach speeds of up to 65 kilometres per hour, with damaging gusts of up to 110kilometres per hour, while the winds will be stronger on exposed coasts and on high ground.

The warning remains in place until noon tomorrow, after which Storm Eunice is forecast to bring more widespread strong and damaging winds across the country, along with heavy rain and potentially snow.

Met Eireann forecaster, Gerry Murphy, outlines what’s in store across the country today.
