Two Weather Alerts Issued For Clare

Two status yellow weather alerts have been issued for Clare.

Met Éireann is forecasting strong winds and gusts of up to 110 kilometres per hour, especially near the coast.

The alert, which also covers Galway, Cork and Kerry remains in place until midday.

A second weather alert, this time for wind and rain, comes into effect for Munster from 6 o’clock this evening until midnight tonight.

Strong winds and heavy rain is forecast, with spot flooding possible.
