The Irish Coast Guard says it’s strongly advising the public to exercise caution as a yellow wind warning comes into place in Clare this morning.

The weather advisory is active from now until 3pm this afternoon in this county, with Met Eireann expecting gusts of up to 90 kilometres per hour in places.

The Coast Guard is expecting the forecasted unseasonable conditions to coincide with spring tides and rough to high seas.
