Council Crews On Standby As Two Weather Warnings Come Into Effect In Clare

Motorists across Clare are urged to be on alert after heavy rainfall overnight, and amid a wind warning for today.

There’s reports of flooding on the N85 Ennis-Ennistymon road at Kilnamona this morning, but it’s understood traffic can pass by with care.

While there’s a tree down on the Broadford to O’Callaghan’s Mills Road.

Council crews are on standby throughout today, and could yet be busy as a low level Status Yellow wind warning remains in place until this evening, as a result of Storm Francis.
